Here I am encouraged
I'm working for the sales department of RLE and recruit new employees for our current vacancies. Thats the reason why I have daily contact with potential candidates and applicants. Graduates who are looking for a suitable entry into the workforce built an important target group for RLE.
Young students are often unsure in what kind of area they would like to work and where they see their strengths. It is therefore important that the students are taken seriously and be promoted in practice. Exactly that is lived at RLE: The graduates will have the chance to prove themselves in an exciting and international environment - even without a lot of experience. Through our various areas and topics they have the opportunity of different exciting projects to find their ideal position.
In 2010 I also started at RLE directly after graduating and got provided by targeted training and assistance of the different departments and colleagues. In addition, the staff at RLE is relatively young. This caused that I immediately felt very comfortable because you can support each other and it´s also fun to work in a young and dynamic team.
A real good start for young engineers
Before I start working as a trainee at RLE International, I lived in Spain. The trainee program allows people without working experience to start developing their qualifications and skills in the automotive industry. It includes Catia V5 and German lessons, and a week of training at Ford facilities. During the program, new trainees are provided, if necessary, a temporary apartment close to the work place, and helpful advice about how to settle in Germany. This gives him/her enough time to prepare necessary documentation and, for example, to look for a flat after the training program. This is very useful especially for foreign trainees.
Our everyday routine starts with Catia V5 lessons in the morning, in which we improve our skills. German lessons are given in the afternoon in an academy. Depending of the initial level of the trainee, he or she is placed in the most suitable level. It permits foreign people to be able to communicate with colleagues at work -although everyone speaks English- and of course to integrate into German society. Nearly at the end of the program, trainees are asked about their impressions, and the chance to start working for RLE as an engineer will be discussed. This program is orientated very individually and is a real good start for young engineers who want to grow professionally, especially in automotive industry.
Many options for young talents
Since the beginning of my dual studies in the field of industrial management at the European University of Applied Sciences I am employed at RLE INTERNATIONAL. At that time I worked as a long-term intern in the key account management. Here, I actively supported the sales department and took over the administration of the company's CRM system.
After my studies, I started in the Mobility department. There I updated and restructured a training concept for the optimal preparation of new employees working onsite in a Ford-project. This concept is now used as a basis for developing similar training programs for other customers in the automotive industry.
My development shows me that RLE puts a lot of confidence in their employees and allows young talents the possibility of a direct entry.
Study becauseof flexible working time
I joined RLE as a student within the sales department at the beginning of this year.
The excellent and friendly working environment and flexible working hours enable me to continue my studies (Industrial Engineering) on the one hand and to gain some practical insight and experience in the areas of sales/ recruitment on the other side.
I am looking forward to more exciting activities at RLE, maybe even with a future long-term perspective.
