What do professionals say about RLE INTERNATIONAL as employer?

Working with my small but very dynamic team...

I am now working at RLE International for almost four years. Currently I am a Project Manager in a tooling inventory project. It is crazy what happened in four years - I will start from the beginning:

It all started with a small project to develop a training manual. The next project was a consulting project for one of our clients in Cologne to reduce warranty costs. Towards the end of this project, I was actually in the daily exchanges between tie and boiler suit.because in addition to the optimization of processes and systems was the optimization of methods for removing and installing dealers also part of the project. In addition to some other small projects I was working 2.5 years in the Business Process Team. I had the opportunity here to get to know the process and system landscape of our customers. My task was to develop, optimize and establish approval processes on a global level. This was a higlich exciting sometimes nerve-streching challenge.

Afterwards I got another opportunity to further development. All the skills and experience I have gained in previous projects, enabled me to become a project manager for the tooling inventory project including being responsible for the budget and the team. It is a high-strategic project for RLE because we because our goal is to develop in the direction of project and consulting business. Working with my small but very dynamic team gives me a lot of fun but is also challenging, and I still learn something new every day.

Almost simultaneously, the human resources development started with a mentoring program in which the RLE forms future managers from within the ranks. After an application and a challenging assessment center, I was finally proud to be one of the four participants of that program in 2012. The first projects and trainings have already taken place and I would like to encourage everybody to take part next year.

As you can see you have a variety of opportunities at RLE to develop yourself - you just have to grab them.

Varied tasks

I started working immediately after completing my studies of engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne at RLE INTERNATIONAL.

After a short training period as a trainee I started as a full team member in a consulting project for a major automobile manufacturer and already developed business processes. After a successful completion of the project I am now working as a deputy project manager in the follow-up order.

For me it is delightful to work with versatile contents which results from the project work. In this case a creative, flexible and interdisciplinary way of thinking is essential. During my  projects I learned that you don´t only need expertise in the fields of IT, automotive and manufacturing demand, but also the social skills in dealing with clients and in the conduct of other project members.

The cooperation of an interdisciplinary team and the opportunity to rise quickly are other reasons for my decision to stay long term at RLE.

Support on the career path

After my studies in mathematics, the offer to my current job at RLE came exactly to the right time.

Here I could build up an international network to many clients of the media, banking and automotive sector and experienced different strategies in the implementation of projects.

Internal training e.g. Green Spirit helped me to learn more about non-technical factors such as social issues, labor or business processes.

RLE supported me from a simple "IT Specialist" to a Senior Consultant. Now I am responsible for the complete planning, implementation and completion of customer projects.

During my fourteen years of RLE I always had a varied and interesting time. I've never regretted it, even in difficult times to stick to RLE and I look forward to a long and exciting collaboration.
