FAQ - How to apply?

The easiest and fastest way to apply with RLE is online via our Careers portal career.rle.de. There you can enter all your data and upload such documents as your resume, a cover letter, employer reference certificates to complete you application.


Once you register to log in, you can view the status of your application at any time and update your application documents. One-time ‘guest’ login is possible as well without registration. 

It is very important that your application documentation is complete. A cover letter and resume are required without exception as well as all job-related employer recommendation letters/certificates and professional certification documents. We consider evident interest and motivation on the part of candidates to be highly important, and these are often best expressed in a cover letter.

If you have registered in the past you can use your existing login and password. If you have forgotten your password, on the registration screen of the Careers portal click the button labelled "Forgot your password?". A new password will then be sent to the e-mail address on file from your registration.

You are invited to send in an unsolicited application even if you have not found a corresponding job vacancy advertised on our Careers page. Be sure to state the job title of interest and desired location for the position. Your application will then be forwarded to the relevant departments for review as to whether a suitable position could be offered.

You first select the positions and locations in question then complete the application process with us. We consider your application in relation to all of the selections and then respond to you accordingly. 

You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your application within three days. Your application is then forwarded to the relevant departments for careful review of your documents. Once this review is completed we get back to you as soon as possible. This process can however take up to two weeks in certain cases due to department workload.

If your authentic application documents have awakened our interest, we initially invite you to a telephone interview, potentially followed by in-person interviews and a visit to an assessment centre. We attach great importance to meeting you in person and giving you opportunity to get to know us.
